TOWNSHIP OF KABETOGAMA

Supervisor Richard McGregor introduced the following Resolution and moved for its adoption:

 

 

RESOLUTION NO. 2004-01

 

Resolution to accept and adopt the Kabetogama Township Community Wastewater Plan Amendment with text and maps as well as accept the Adoption Summary language for Publication

 

 

WHEREAS, the Kabetogama Township Board of Supervisors held a hearing on June 28th, 2004, at 5:00 p.m. in the Kabetogama Community Center to hear comments on the Kabetogama Township Community Wastewater Plan Amendment with text and maps which is an amendment to the Kabetogama Township Community Action Plan completed in December, 2002, and;

 

WHEREAS, the Kabetogama Township Board of Supervisors has reviewed the above Plan Amendment and determines that the nature and character of the Plan Amendment text and maps are such that they are in the public interest to protect the health, safety and welfare of the community by adopting this Plan and;

 

WHEREAS, the Kabetogama Township Board of Supervisors has also reviewed the public notice adopting said Plan Amendment and the language summary;

 

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Kabetogama Township Board of Supervisors, St. Louis County, Minnesota, hereby accepts the Kabetogama Township Community Wastewater Plan Amendment with text and maps and the language for the adoption summary and requests that the Township Clerk publish it as stated;

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Kabetogama Township Board of Supervisors that the above adoption be recommended for formal review and adoption to the St. Louis County Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners, and instructs the Town Clerk to make the formal copies and forward them to the County Planning Commission with said request.

Motion was seconded by Supervisor Jack McMahan to adopt the above resolution on the following vote:

                                      Abstained:  0                                                                              Absent:   0

 

 

The above motion was adopted on the 28th day of June, 2004, and placed in the files and resolution book.
