Old Business:
Copy Machine – there has not been a definite decision regarding this matter. This issue will be discussed again at the next meeting.
Planning Commission – An additional application was received for this commission. There are now five applicants. The board has decided to put this on hold until after our March elections.
New Business:
Letter – Clerk M. Manninen read a letter that was sent to the township regarding concerns about the mixture of signs at the intersection of Gamma Road and Gappa Road. At this time there are no set regulations or ordinances regarding standardizing of signs. No action was taken at this time. Once the Planning Commission has been organized matters of this type could be taken into consideration.
Pucks Point – Jay Tomczak approached the board regarding snow plowing on Pucks Point road. The county has not plowed this road for the past two winters claiming there is not a safe turn a round for the equipment. Jay was asked to open this road last winter but found it very difficult on his equipment once the snow has settled, thawed and refroze. Jay will plow for the township but would prefer to keep the road open and plow as necessary. Vice Chair E. Town moved to hire Jay to plow Pucks Point road this winter season, seconded by Supervisor R. McGregor, motion carried.
