Resident Julie Gutz questioned the board regarding a new name for the road she lives on. The board gave her names and numbers of County employees to contact on this matter.
Sande Moyer reported on the community meeting that was held on June 8, 2004 at 7:00 pm at the Kabetogama Community Hall regarding the future of the hall itself. There was good attendance along with positive and negative comments about a possible new center and its location. Right now the committee can’t move ahead until property has been established and purchased for this project. As new information comes along it will be brought to the public. It was decided at this meeting to send out a comment sheet to all property owners in the township which gives everyone a chance to comment (pro, con) on this project. This sheet is to be sent back to Sande Moyer as soon as possible.
Ron Moyer for the Kabetogama Fire department informed the board that the dump site will be burnt again late this summer or early this fall.
The Kabetogama Fire Department would like the Kabetogama Township Board of Supervisors to contact residents of the Ash River Trail and invite them or a representative for them to attend a township board meeting to discuss fire and medical protection.
