Old Business:
Marlene Tomczak has been heading up the Kabetogama Lake entrance beautification
project. Right now there is a need for monies to help pay for an Architectural
fee to provide a construction package for the project, ($3,000.00). The
Kabetogama Township would like to help out with the project and give $1,000.00.
Supervisor Edward Town made a motion to provide $1,000.00 toward the fee.
Supervisor Richard McGregor seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Ron Moyer, from the Kabetogama Fire Department, gave a very detailed report
on the additional building the department would like to build. This report
covered the bid packages and specifications for a heated or non-heated
metal building. After further research into building this addition, the
department determined that the cost was more than they had previously
thought. They would like to extend the extra line item on their budget
for an extra two years. Please refer to the 2003 annual meeting minutes
for a copy of the approved budget that shows the extra line item for the
fire department building.
Supervisor Edward Town made a motion to add two more years to the extra
line item of $10,000.00 per year for the Fire Department budget. Seconded
by Supervisor Richard McGregor. Motion carried. The township also recommends
that the Fire Department construct the heated building not the non-heated
building.
Waste Water Treatment Chairman Jack McMahon gave a report from
this committee. Bridget Chard is working well with the group. Her recommendation
is to educate the public and slow the process down as to make better judgments.

by the township on a motion by Chairman Jack McMahon, seconded by Supervisor
Richard McGregor.
