Old Business:

Resignation – E. Town read the letter of resignation from Supervisor John McMahon.  A letter of thanks will be drafted and sent to Jack for his fine services as a Supervisor.

A lengthy discussion was held regarding the Kabetogama Lake Fire Department’s role in planning.  Recently during a planning and zoning meeting held on the range it was determined that the Fire department has always had a say in planning (regulation #3.02) but it was never realized until now.  The Fire department put together a group of members to work with the county and draft a set of guidelines for new commercial developments.

It appears that there has been some confusion on the language of these guidelines and these two groups will need to meet again.

New Business:

Brad and Tina Erickson came to the meeting with questions regarding a letter they received about a sewer district near their home.  Larry Warrington fully explained the processes of this sewer district and who could join and how and that it is not mandatory to join.

Next month will be the annual meeting and elections.  The residents will be voting on one supervisor and one treasurer.

Terri Town has offered to be the deputy treasurer for Jean Reichow.  She was accepted unanimously.

Roads – Supervisor R. McGregor will call the county regarding steaming a culvert on State Point Road.
